Emma and I started the day, 7am in the pool with all the grown up 'swimmers' carving up the water. I managed 30 lengths of the 35m pool, Emma managed 20. She was brilliant, I was so proud of her!! Just as quick as some of the grown ups.
After feeling rather smug and healthy(ish) we picked up the boys and went for breakfast .... This morning at the wildlife park, surrounded by some rather sleepy koalas!
And then Mark and I sat on the balcony with an ice cold cider reading our books, when some visitors turned up to say hi!
They were very cute, but some people were sat quite close to one whilst eating their breakfast and the koala decided to have a good old scratch above them ... Ew! I was glad to be sat a respectful distance, thus ensuring no unwanted additions on my breakfast plate!
We couldn't resist the opportunity to cuddle a koala, so booked in to return later in the day for some more gratuitous tourist activity!
We had to return the golf buggy by 10.30, so decided to have one more trek up to one tree hill, the highest spot on the island. From the top you can see the new exclusive development, Qualia complete with heli-pad and dedicated spa..... And there were some serious yachts hanging around too!
After dropping off the buggy we went straight to the beach & pool! Much hotter today, so the only place to be really!
At 3pm it was koala time ........ Awwwww!
Then back to the room for some chill out time before dinner.
Mark walked down to the harbour to buy some aftersun (funnily enough)
We had a lovely chilled out day and we're really looking forward to tomorrow.... It's Williams 7th birthday and we have a surprise in store for him!!!!!! Very excited!
